This a very early (7-week) follow-up on a woman in her early 30s with breast asymmetry and bilateral macromastia, who has problems with shoulder pain, back pain, and irritation under her breasts from the bra, she is 5′ 6 ½” and 162 lbs and is shown before and again, 7 weeks after a bilateral breast reduction with the removal of 401 grams of tissue from her right breast and 506 grams of tissue from her left breast to reduce her to a “C” cup.
She is thrilled with her new size. Her symptoms have resolved. She has just removed her steri strips that were placed after the surgery and still has some small spots of tissue glue on the skin. We are going to have her start applying topical silicone to help the scars fade.
